NOTE:This auction has staggered ending times.
The first item will close at 11:00 am(E.S.T) . Each item will close 1 minute after the previous. For example, Lot 1 closes at 11:00 am. Lot 2 closes at 11:01 am. Lot 3 closes at 11:02 am. This will be an Online auction of the entire availability of inventory to be removed by the new buyer with a removal and delivery period within 30 days of the auction end date. As of right now, the bidding is now open. The reason for the delay in opening is we are adding more inventory to the auction.

These are the steps to use if you are interested in bidding

NOTICE Bids will not be changed for any reason . Except for extreme mistakes. To be determined by the auction company. So please be careful on your bidding.

1-If at any time you get lost start over by going back to www.nurseryauction.com

3-At this point you should notice a PHOTO GALLERY link under the location/address to the left top of the auction site.-(I recommend you go through the photos first) these will not be photos of the entire Auction inventory but will give you a good idea of the quality.
4-once you are done viewing the photos and information on that page use your back button or the link that says "Full Information Listing" at the top of the photos.
5-Once back on that page scroll down to the categories (blue links under the 5 highlight photos)
6-pick one category or view all the items by clicking on the INVENTORY LISTING link.

Your bid is on one item times the number of items in the lot.
The bidding forms are at the right of the page
Once you have your bidders number and password you can sign in and begin bidding.

What is a Maximum Bid?
A Maximum Bid is the highest dollar amount you are willing to pay for an item. Here is an example of using the Maximum Bid feature: If you enter a Maximum bid the system will automatically bid on your behalf up to your Maximum bid amount. For example, let's assume that you enter a bid of $10 on an item and Maximum bid of $40. If no other bids are placed on that item you will be the winner at your $10 bid. If another bidder places a bid of $20 on the item you will now be winning at the $20 plus 1 increment level (for example $20 + $1 = $21).

If you are outbid while the auction is still active...
The system will automatically send you an email every time that you are outbid on an item.

May I raise my Maximum Bid?
Yes, but if you are the current high bidder, you will have to raise your bid by one bid increment.

What is Auto-extend time?
The Auto-extend time feature will leave the bidding open for any item that has received a bid within the last 5 minutes, even if the original ending time has been reached.

How do I receive a catalog "Hard Copy"?
The catalog can be printed by going to the next auction web page when you enter the online arena. The link to click on says "Printable Catalog". We can also fax you one by calling 1-800-646-6486

Can I enter the auction site and look around without a bidders number and password? Yes jut click the enter the auction arena link and then click on the link that says "All Items"

Waiting till the last minute to bid:
There is no real benefit to waiting to the last minute to place a quick bid and be the last bidder. This bidding engine has an auto-extend feature we have developed in order to extend the bidding another few minutes automatically should someone bid right at the end. this will always give the last bidder another chance.

In my opinion the best way to bid:
Use the Maxbid feature as early as possible. This guarantees that you will have the final position you need at the end. if you wait and other people are bidding there is a good chance someone is thinking in the same range as you.
EXAMPLE: if you know you would pay 1.10 for a certain plant, make your bid at .50 but place a Maxbid at 1.10. if nobody else bids you still get it at .50. but if ten people start to bid at a certain time no one can take that 1.10 position you would be happy with. if one other person bids .60 your next bid is automatically placed at 1 increment higher but never higher than you Max bid.
NOTE: you can raise your Maxbid at any time.

How do I arrange removal and payment after the auction?
After the auction is overall success full buyers will be contacted via E-Mail. Payment arrangements will be made. Once payment is received and verified the Seller will be contacted and you can call the Seller so pick-up times can be arranged according to Eaton Farms.

Nursery Contact is Jeff Thompson 484/663-3903
